Reunited with An Old Friend...

I love this album! It has been at least three years since I've heard it though; dunno what happened to my CD, and I didn't have it on my Mac. Anyway, today I downloaded it and we had a wonderful reunion listening session.

Playlist

I'm kind of fascinated by making playlists right now. It seems that the age of the mixtape is over for many reasons, not the least of which is that the "tape" is now obsolete. Now with iPods/iPhones and other portable media players being so common it is fun to make playlist of ones' favorite jams, be they slow, hard, melancholy, or whatever. I made my wife a playlist of songs that make me think of her for Valentine's Day (she loved it). Needless to say, I've made a lot of playlists lately... now on to the sharing : )

While I was watching American Idol last night I got sad when it looked like Anoop was going to go home. I started clapping when Simon told him they were taking 13 this year. I've watched Idol off and on a few times, mostly because other people were interested; but this year is the first time I've watched from the start. I'm not saying that Anoop is gonna win, I haven't decided my pick yet, but I like him...
